The San Fernando Pantheon Museum will host the first edition of the Gatotitlan Festival, an event dedicated to raising awareness about animal care. Organized by the Ministry of Culture of Mexico City, the festival will offer artistic and cultural activities for families to enjoy while promoting the well-being of pets, especially cats.
As part of the festival activities, the Animal Surveillance Brigade of the Citizen Security Ministry will carry out a Croquetón and Sobretón, where donations of cat food, both for puppies and adults, as well as wet food in pouches and cans, will be received. Donations can be delivered starting at 12:00 PM in Patio Tres of the museum, located at San Fernando 17, Colonia Guerrero, Cuauhtémoc Alcaldía.
It is important that the food is delivered in its original packaging, with a valid consumption date and completely sealed, as a safety and health measure for the felines. The donations will contribute to the well-being of the approximately 25 cats that reside in the museum.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 22, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the San Fernando Pantheon Museum. The event will feature a variety of activities for all tastes, including a bazaar of pet products with more than 30 stands with items to pamper your cats, free workshops in watercolor, urban sketching, and photography, theatrical tours of the pantheon at 1:00 PM, and a puppet theater with a fun play at 3:00 PM.
For the workshops, participants must bring certain materials such as pencil, eraser, sharpener, paper, any type of camera or cellphone with a camera, brush, cloth or napkin, container for water, mixing plate or dish, and watercolors, as appropriate for the workshop they wish to participate in.
Don't miss the opportunity to celebrate Cat Day in a fun and supportive way at the Gatotitlan Festival.
